Friends

We need Friends for many reasons,
all throughout the season.
We need Friends to comfort us when we are sad,
and to have fun with us when we are glad.
We need Friends to give us good advice,
We need someone we can count on,
and treat us nice.
We need Friends to remember us
one we have passed sharing memories
that will always last.
Maria Cristina Falls
Hello to all my friends. How are you there? I would like to share my travel experience to all of you. I hope you like the scenic spots that I would post now. It’s me with my best friend Ana at Maria Cristina Falls.
Going to Maria Cristina Falls, we boarded a jeepney with my friends at around 4 am, 19th of October 2003. We had a lengthy trip from Davao City going to Marilog District, Bukidnon, Cagayan City then Iligan City where the falls situated. We arrived at 9 am in Maria Cristina falls. We had fun taking pictures in every angle of the camera and had snacks there.
Maria Cristina falls is a waterfall of the Aguas River on the island of Mindanao, Philippines. It is also called the “twin falls” as the flow is separated by a rock at the brink of the waterfall. It is a landmark of Iligan City. It is well known for it natural beauty and grandeur, the 320 feet high waterfall. It is also the primary source of electric power for the city’s industries being harnessed by the Aguas River VI hydroelectric plant. The power plant has 200 mw potential capacities supplied by a water flow of about 130 cubic meters per second.
Tinago Waterfalls
After Maria Cristina Falls, we went to Tinago Waterfalls where we enjoyed swimming, eating our lunch and taking pictures. At 2 pm, we prepared ourselves in going back to Davao City. We arrived at around 11 pm so tired but we had fun. There was indeed much joy in discovering the majestic falls. Truly a worthy trip!
Tinago Falls is a waterfall in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. It is one of the main tourist attractions in Iligan. Tinago is a Filipino term meaning “hidden”, the falls being hidden in a deep ravine. Trekking to the falls requires approximately 500 descending steps called the winding staircase. The falls is approximately 240 feet high. It’s a very cold waters cascading beautifully into a deep and calm basin-like pool which appears like a blue colored lagoon. Under the falls is a small cave where people can enter and listen to the rumbling waters.
