Flower Horns
This flower horns are taken inside our house. We have 3 flower horn fishes. The other one is still small. Flower horn fish are hybrids between various species from the group of fish that was previously known as Cichlasoma. More recently Cichlasoma has been split into several groups. This fishes are very territorial and very aggressive, they will not tolerate other fish in their own house. We have big fish tank or aquarium divided into two for them to have a free space for swimming. They are big fish with compact body that’s why we have big fish tank. What I am trying to focus now is their hump on the head. I want them to become bigger so they would look cute and beautiful. I want better color also, wider body and fins and more peculiar marks on the body or Chinese character. When it comes to food, they are not picky eaters and they need lots of food which is pellet that can be found in many stores where pet fish are sold. They are quick to grow over 12″ inches long and some would grown 16″ inches long. Mine is quite longer and bigger because they are 2 years old already. Their lifespan is up to 8 to 10 years old. I love flower horn as my pet because you would be fascinated by just looking at them.
