Father Chris’ Birthday
My friend at work invited us her closest friends Honney, Eunice, Juliet and me to attend the birthday party of Father Chris who is the best friend of her doctor boss. The Polish priest was invited by her best friend to celebrate his birthday and christmas vacation here in the Philippines. He traveled all the way from Poland, Holland, Manila and Davao City just to spend time with his best friend. We arrived early, some of the visitors hadn’t arrived yet so we had the chance talking to him, his congregation, his devotion and vocation to God. Presently, he was assigned in Cairo Egypt, so far he learned 15 languages for being assigned in different places in the world. At such a young age he served 15 countries already. We were so amazed talking to him as he was kind, gentle and very friendly to us. We also had the chance taking pictures with him while the party hasn’t started. His visitors were mostly female doctors, family, friends of his best friend and us the secretaries. His best friend gave us christmas gifts, I got japanese fan, my friends got kipling brand wallets and vanity mirror. We had fun attending his birthday party, the food was lovely and delicious. This would be our christmas party with my friends at work as we didn’t have a party for ourselves.
SD Card
When I bought my canon digital camera last year, I asked the saleslady if there was included of an SD card. She said there was secure digital card included with 2 gb sd. I was thankful because I don’t need to buy memory card for my new digital camera. I’m all praise for advance technology like digital camera which I could take many pictures I want without buying any film and I could save it longer to my camera as I have 2 giga bytes. Now I enjoyed taking pictures because my camera has 12 mega pixels, printing is much better, its easy to share on networking websites and to my friends.
High School Reunion Part lll
Last week my classmate Audrey sent me a message from facebook that she already arrived in the Philippines for a christmas vacation from Australia. So I thought our high school reunion event would happen again for the third time. I asked suggestions from my classmates what restaurant are we going to eat for our dinner. Jeanette suggested chippens buffet restaurant and I agreed too, I reserved seats for 20 people. But I had a hard time finding for videoke bar for our singing session as every videoke bar was full for the weekend party. Good thing there was one left available the event videoke bar, so I booked for our singing session. Thanks to facebook, I have kept in touch with my classmates here and abroad informing them for our reunion. I texted some of my classmates and sending messages on yahoo messenger, some replied but only a few didn’t respond. We are about 11 people attended namely, Audrey, the balikbayan from Australia, Jeanette, Meraflor, Jocelyn, Vergencita, Berlie, Armidelle, Maricel, Jerome, Jamel, yours truly, Maricel’s children, and Jeanette’s daughter. So all in all we were 14 people including the children. We spent a lot of time eating together, updating each other’s lives, reminiscing the past and enjoying taking pictures.
After our sumptuous dinner at chippen’s we headed to the event videoke bar for all of us to sing and drink. I had fun with the kids because they participate and were not shy singing and dancing on their own too. We had a fantastic and successful reunion even though only a few classmates attended but I enjoyed so much. To Audrey, thank you for making this reunion possible again, we wouldn’t have gotten this far without your effort of coming and investing your time with us. Davidoff
Many years ago and now, I observed my grandparents that after having dinner, they will lie down on their rattan-made hammock and started to smoke with their favorite davidoff brand of cigar. This is their usual habit and a form of relaxation, talking to each other while swaying on their hammock. When they fall asleep, that was the time they will transfer to their bed and sleep. I have nothing against their habit as long as they are happy and enjoying their years of living here and that’s all that matters to me.
Friend’s Request
My friend in Singapore invested money from our cooperative for 11 months now. She sent her money every month through my account and I will withdraw it and save to our cooperative to lend it to members who needs money. The interest are accumulated and we divided it equally to all the member including the money that we invested monthly. I sent half of her money including interest through western union because her cousin need it badly. Tonight she texted me that she will call me until she called me because she need the mtcn number for her to claim her money tomorrow. The following day, she phoned me informing that she got the money that I sent to her. I was happy to hear news that she got the money already as its a big responsibility holding a friend’s money. Save The Date Cards
My friend’s wedding day will be next year come in the month of february. They are so excited and looking forward to exchange “I Do’s” on that day. Everything was plan and organized by their wedding planner from bridal gown, principal sponsors, secondary sponsors, ring bearer and so forth. They had wedding invitations already and they just save the date cards on their wedding day. They ordered more invitation cards because they invited more than 150 persons on their grand wedding day next year. I am excited to wear my fabulous gown and 3 inch high-heeled sandals marching the aisle as well being chosen as maid of honor by her.
Shopping At Gaisano Mall
My cousin Phyllis drop in our office for a chat this morning. She had been to SM mall shopping with the things that her daughter needs for christmas party. We had a lengthy chat so I offered her cheese cake, macaroons for our snacks. Then came my time to timed-out from work we proceeded to a nearby mall to window shop. They were on midnight sale for 3 days. she bought long black blouse, pink nighty and yellow shirt. I fitted a cream printed blouse that I like but it didn’t fit so well so I didn’t buy it. There were lots of sale but I will buy next week as soon as I get my 13th-month pay.
Glass Mosaic Tile
I remember I had a tour of a french house a couple of months ago at a high end subdivision here in the city. My friend and I had taken so many pictures of a french house to show to our buyer who was a foreigner the house and lot that was for sale already. We had viewed every corner of their house from master’s bedroom, guests rooms upstairs and downstairs, living room, toilet, bathroom and kitchen. I was amazed because one of their bathroom tiles were made of glass mosaic tile that I want to design my bathroom similar to their tiles as well. It looks so fabulous and pleasing to my eyes and I could chose the color that I want. It’s another design that I am looking forward to buy and could experiment to my bathroom soon as some of my tiles were worn-out already.
Cristine’s 16th Birthday
I have been to a dinner party tonight and I just got home now. My friend Susan’s bosses at work invited us the secretaries to their only daughter’s 16th birthday. It seemed all of us working on the 7th floor were present on her special occasion only a few didn’t come as they were busy at work. A lot of people were invited from the celebrant’s teachers, classmates, doctors, secretaries, relatives and friends. While waiting for the visitors to come, we had the chance to view their entire house and we enjoyed taking some pictures inside and outside their house. It was a nice modern house, full of modern furnitures adorned with christmas decorations and valuable things. Everybody enjoyed the party, we had sumptuous foods from fresh fruits, main course, desserts, assorted flavors of fruit smoothies, different kinds of coffee, refreshing soft drinks and wines. We enjoyed the party so much, there was program, the gays were entertaining us and the music was so cool. Indeed, it was a fabulous birthday celebration that I had attended so far.
Laserjet 3700 Toner
In our office that needs more printing and billing statement for this busy season, we bought a series printer like laserjet 3700 toner as long as it is compatible to our printer. It gives more color, very reliable and efficiency in my job. I can print more copies with the best color that it gives to my printing paper. My boss likes it because its easy to use and maintain with four toner cartridges in a pack.
