Overseas Phone Calls
I was sleeping this afternoon because I was tired of cleaning the house. I didn’t realize that it was dark already and my phone rang. I woke up answering the phone, it was my sister from Qatar who called up. I was surprised because she hadn’t called us for a few months already. She said she was very busy at work, and had the chance to talk to us now. It was a brief conversation and promised to call back again when she got home. True enough, she called up again but we were having our dinner plus we experienced a black out for a few minutes. I charged my mobile when the power was on as I was expecting her to call back again. They had talked with my mama asking about our situation here. It was nice talking to her again on the phone after a few months that we hadn’t talk but we always chat on yahoo messenger and facebook every day when she had time to chat at work.
Collection Agency
My friend at work had experienced a problem from her friend who borrowed her credit to buy some construction materials for church donation. At first, her friend paid 3 months installment payments but after that she failed to pay and she was gone abroad. My friend refused to pay it because it wasn’t her debt although her friend was using her credit card through her consent. It was already a year that she had ignored it and didn’t pay any amount so she was endorsed to a collection agency for demand payments. She had no choice but to coordinate with them and signed an agreement to pay it for 2 years. It was a relief to her because she paid it in an installment basis and she was not pestered with the demand letter and phone calls anymore.
Montserrat Key Chain Holder
My neighbor aunt visited us in the house last sunday, I was surprised she came after a few months that I hadn’t seen her. She looked so happy and healthy, she told us that she just arrived from holiday in Europe. Her companion was also a retired teacher from our hometown. She gave me a blue key chain holder that she bought from Montserrat Spain. She was happy telling us that they had toured around Europe, the packaged tour places included Belgium, Germany, France, Austria, Poland, Switzerland and Spain. This neighboring places could just be reached by just riding a bus passing by the tunnel. It was so amazing how the first world countries made that without experiencing traffic and smooth way. They spent there for 23 days including food and hotels. This friend of ours, had traveled all over the world already from asia, middle east, usa, and europe. She had done so much in her life, I wish I could also travel like her even in one of asian places soon. 
Seamless Shorts
Last week, I was in wacoal office to get some stocks of a pair of wacoal lingerie that my customer had ordered me. I was looking at their sale items that was displayed in their office. I got some sale of lingerie and undies, I saw this seamless shorts that was marked down at 30%. I bought two pieces, size large and medium as I thought of giving my sister as well. This shorts is appropriate when wearing skirt or dress because its safe than wearing undies. I chose light brown as this would matched to any clothes that I would wear. My sister was so happy receiving this pair of seamless shorts because this is very useful to us as we always wear skirt and dress almost everyday.
Fruit Baskets
My cousin invited us for a 70th birthday party of her mother this november. Mostly the visitors of her birthday bash are the closest friends and relatives from our hometown. The food that she will be preparing are the healthier foods since the visitors are mostly her fellow folks. My family are discussing what would be the practical gift that we could give on her birthday. We came to the idea of giving fruit baskets for her and her husband rather than material things. They need fruits everyday to nourish themselves and fiber that may help them protect from chronic diseases.
Stranded By The Rain
We had heavy rain this afternoon until 7pm in the evening so we stayed in the office with my friend Joyce. Good thing, I let her bought some slices of greenwich pizza and soft drink for our snack while waiting for the rain to stop. She brought me the fern c that I ordered from her and paid her my bills in the previous months, she also paid me her load credit. We had a good snack munching a fresh hot hawaiian and pepperoni pizza with a soft drink. We had a long chat until the rain stopped so we decided to go home. I was walking the street going to the place where my ride passed by but I had a hard time catching the jeepney because it was raining and some streets were underwater. So instead I was walking down going to Ponciano street to catch my ride as there were passengers waiting for a ride too until I reached to triumph office. They were still open and got some stocks that I ordered from them earlier. If I didn’t reach ponciano street, I wouldn’t have gotten my ride early as I was tired waiting and standing for nearly an hour already.
Congratulations Gift
My niece will soon march on her college graduation day this month of october. She belong to an octoberian class because she had lapses on her subjects before. Despite this lapses, thankfully she had finished her degree with flying colors. Her parents are busy window shopping for clothes, bag and shoes to wear on her graduation day. My mom and I was also looking for congratulations gift that she would never forget on her special occasion. While my sister in Qatar was also thinking on what gift she would give her. I suggested cash gift because its easy to send and its up to her to buy the things that she wants. I am happy for my sister because finally she has a professional daughter of her own. Both their hard work was really paid off indeed.
Delayed Internet Payment
Last saturday, I reminded my mobile to pay for my internet bill. Even though I was in Calinan, I made sure not to forgot it because I was scared they would disable my internet connection. More than an hour of traveling from Calinan to the city proper, I dropped at gaisano grand mall to pay my internet. I was supposed to pay at LBC courier, when they said they stopped receiving bill payments since LBC bank was closed because of bankruptcy. I was worried as it was saturday and the smart office was closed. I had no choice but to pay it on monday at their central office. I paid it in the afternoon during my lunch break. I was surprised because I had to pay it using their smart’s bill payment system machine. It was my first time to pay there so I was asking the help of a guy falling in line ahead of me. He was kind enough to help me with my payment and it was paid successfully. Thanks to that guy who helped me paid my internet bill, I now learn to pay it on their machine.
Partner Rings
Last week, I have chatted to my friend on yahoo. We were friends online for the past 5 years already, all I know he was single and never married. Just recently, he confessed to me that he had moved a girl to his house. I was surprised because I thought he was single but anyway, its none of my business if he was taken as we’re just chatting online. They’ve known each other for more than 20 years but they never dated before as they were just friends until she liked her and they exclusively dating. Finally his girlfriend moved in to his house and her dog. He was happy telling me about his girlfriend, he showed me on cam their partner rings. I could see the happiness in his eyes showing their rings. He said his girlfriend made him happy since the day she moved in. He even let me add his girlfriend in facebook so I could see their pictures there. She was wearing red blouse, has reddish blond hair, slim and very pretty. I hope they would end up together and would hear a wedding bells soon.
Trip To Calinan
Last saturday, my cousin janet texted me asking if I wanted to joined with them in going to Calinan to visit their friend. I was hesitant at first because I still have half day at work. She said we would travel after work but then again I was asking about our transportation. She said that her husband will bring his car so I said yes as we don’t have problem going there. We traveled past 12:30 pm, we dropped first to our cousin’s house then we headed to calinan. We drove fast as it was not traffic going there. On the highway, we saw lots of durian and grapefruits displayed in every corner. We arrived late at 1:30 pm, we had our late lunch but yummy because we had durian and pineapple as our desserts. Her house was big and spacious, surrounded with fruit trees, it was like a farm as its far away from the city. After two hours of chatting, we decided to go home, we brought sweet pineapples from del monte. We had fun there, it was my second time to visit the place and I would love to visit again next time.
