My friend from abroad bought me different colors of nail polish such as fuchsia, gray, blue, yellow as she likes mango, orange, black and varnish or colorless. I was using the gray polish for my manicure, pedicure service when she was here in the Philippines. We both like the color so much as it was unique and it really matched on my skin tone. My friend said it was an inspired color for me as it was chosen by my friend who gifted me. My friends at work noticed it even the passengers as I had service in a posh salon here in Davao. I love all the nail polish that she had given me, one was made in Korea, the fuchsia color was max factor brand, the blue one was made in USA and the rest were local brand. She had great taste in all the colors that she bought for me and I was grateful for the gifts that I love using every month.

It’s really nice to go out camping in the country on the weekends. We love it as a family and go frequently. Part of the fun in going is the drive; not only the expectation of the weekend, but also the thrill of driving my SUV through beautiful scenery. This used to be spoiled a little by the noise caused by the roof rack which impaired conversation and also the driving experience. However, on recommendation, we bought a whispbar roof rack which our friend told us was the quietest rack he had ever had – also a claim made in the promotional material. We bought a rack, and the claims were not exaggerated and we now have a lovely quiet drive to and from our weekends in the country.

Prior to my friend’s visit in the Philippines last March, she asked me what gift she would bought for me. I said I like Paris Hilton Heiress perfume, orange lipstick and chocolates. She said oh but promised to bought it for me. When she bought the perfume, she said the scent was too flowery but I said I love the scent so much since the day I smelled it when I visited Paris Hilton boutique in Abreeza Mall. She bought exactly what I wanted, the box was a picture of Paris Hilton and the content was 100 ml. I was so happy when she gave it to me, I hugged and kissed her for a nice gifts for me.

My friend at work had a vacation in Manila for 5 days together with her family. I was surprised when she came back, she dropped to our office and handed me a beautiful envelope. I opened it, the content inside were a nice silver bangle and a crystal pendant with a flower and butterfly picture inside. There was an inspiring message of “all things are possible if you believe”. I like her gift as it reminds me of being hopeful and optimistic in whatever things to wish for. Thanks my friend for this inspiring gift and a bangle of friendship.

My friend in Europe is a keen outdoor enthusiast and his range of activities extend from medium to long distance runs to long treks lasting for a day to a few days or more. Last year, my friend Arlene bought me an aussino camisole and shorts sleepwear brand but she wasn’t able to give it to me because the courier won’t accept perfume item that she wanted to send it for me too. She waited for a friend who will come to Singapore until our classmate friend had a vacation there last week so she was the one bringing my gifts. I already worn the sleepwear clothes last night even though it wasn’t wash yet but I like to wear it right away. The fabric was so cool, soft and comfy to my skin. The color was black with a combination of plum color the same color with my electric fan that I bought last week. Thanks my friend for this nice gifts, I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity.

It’s holiday today because we celebrate labor day. I am half day work and luckily, we had patient for circumcision procedure. My boss texted me to let the patient have their lunch first while he was having lunch also at the mall. I decided to have my lunch too so that we all had lunch without bothering the procedure. After the circumcision, I fixed everything in the clinic before I went to a nearby mall. I first went to the department store to look for the sale section. There were lots of funny tshirts that were on sale so I bought 3 pieces for my sister and for myself. The t-shirts have nice designs, good quality and longer back that were perfect for my mini skirt and bermuda shorts for the weekend outfit. You know its hot where I am now so I am happy to find best items this time for summer.

Putoy’s 6th Birthday

I had been to a birthday party together with friends last friday. I was one of the godmothers of Putoy’s birthday. My gift was a cartoon character of red angry bird pillow that I bought from Dakki store. Putoy loves angry bird that’s why I chose it. His cake, cup cakes and birthday greetings were the design of angry bird. He was so happy on his birthday, it was made exactly what he wanted. They prepared pork lechon, steamed milk fish, pancit, spaghetti, fried tilapia, pork menudo, fresh fruits and refreshing soft drinks. We enjoyed the party so much and was able to visit friend’s house at work while we were there.

International Roast Coffee

Last week, we were surprised when my brother brought us a can of powdered coffee. His friend from Australia gave him coffee as present to him. He knows that my brother loves drinking coffee most especially at work during graveyard shift but my brother brought it home for our consumption. I love drinking it every morning blended with chocolate drink and milk. My family were enjoying drinking coffee as well. It taste very good, smooth and satisfying paired with wheaten bread and omelet for my breakfast.
